Death City Back Alleys — Black Market

Vex Cork runs a no-questions crate stall on the lower ring. Inanimate weapons for humans and weaponless meisters — wield item before you attack.

Browse:
  talk dealer — see prices (to dealer what do you sell?)
  items buy item — purchase (wooden bat, switchblade, pipe, crowbar, brass knuckles)

Mundane steel is weak against witches and kishin eggs. Meisters without a partner should train Soul Force and use menace target instead.

Legal vending machines also sell some basics (weapon shop, market). Vex stocks exclusive alley pieces and never asks for a student ID.

Follow the ring east through the apartments to Service Lane and the lower-tier sewer entrance.

Deep city hideouts (off main routes):
  Back Alleys south → Brick Backstreet east → Dumpster Courtyard north → Painted Stairwell (up/down tenement floors)
  Service Lane north → Loading Bay → abandoned motel (up/down)
  Market rooftops west → vent crawl; Clock Alcove south → water tower catwalk
  Claim a squat-friendly room with squat; personalize with roomdesc.

Vex Cork sells a soul grinder and some underworld supplies. Nora Vale trades discreet parcels on Market Street; Oren Pike keeps a stall at the Night Market. Use vend to browse local sellers and craft recipes to see the public contraband recipes. Civilians and unaffiliated locals can ask Jax Rook about courier work here, or Edda Vale about fencing work at the Night Market.
