rules detail (Rules)
SERPMUSH allows dangerous conflict, but the world responds to what you do. Violence: Attacking other players is allowed and can be an important part of the game. Rivalries, missions, hunts, betrayals, and bad decisions all belong here. Random violence is not consequence-free just because the command exists. Ordinary people, witches, and DWMA characters: If a regular human, witch, or DWMA student starts murdering people at random, the setting is expected to push back hard. The DWMA, witches, police, allies, and enemies all react. If your meister goes around killing fellow DWMA students, they are not getting a slap on the wrist. They can be captured, imprisoned for life, hunted, socially ruined, or otherwise forced to live with the consequences of what they did. Kishin Eggs: Kishin Eggs are expected to be dangerous. Random attacks, predatory behavior, and open hostility are part of their role in the setting. That also means they are expected to be hunted, fought, and potentially reaped. Roleplay expectations: Use combat to build story, not to shut story down. Emote your actions. Let scenes breathe. Accept that actions have setting consequences. If you play someone monstrous, the world should treat them that way. Setting consequences can create hunts, trials, and prison scenes, but the game does not force character death or captivity. Use consent death, consent captivity, consent harm, and consent magic_bind to record the relevant opt-ins before a command imposes those outcomes. Out-of-character line: In-character violence is allowed. OOC harassment is not. If something starts feeling messy between players instead of between characters, use ooc, staffmail, or bugmail and get staff involved early.
